⚠️ PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING A TEAM


📋 TEAM ROSTERS

How to Submit a Roster:

  • Online:
    You can submit your team roster online at the time of registration.

    • There is no minimum number of players required to register.
    • Maximum: 10 players
    • If your team has more than 10 players, the coach must mail the additional player names and email addresses to:
      H.Y.B.A., Inc.  
      Attn: Additional Roster Information Enclosed  
      P.O. Box 361  
      Ellicott City, MD 21041
      

      This additional information must be received at least one week before the season starts.

  • Offline (By Mail):
    If you are not registering online, the entire roster must be mailed, including each player’s name and email address, to:

    H.Y.B.A., Inc.  
    Attn: Team Roster Enclosed  
    P.O. Box 361  
    Ellicott City, MD 21041
    

    The roster must also arrive at least one week before the season begins.


👕 UNIFORMS

  • Travel Teams are responsible for providing and wearing their own uniforms before the start of the season.

🏀 FORMING A TEAM

  • A team must have at least 5 players to register.
  • If your team has fewer than 5 players, additional players may be assigned from general registration in the same grade division.

To guarantee placement in a league, teams must be registered before the deadlines:

  • Spring Season Deadline: March 1
  • Fall Season Deadline: August 15

🏆 LEAGUE PLACEMENT

  • Teams are placed in a league based on the oldest player on the roster.
    • Example: If a team has all 9th graders and one 10th grader, the team will be placed in the 10th grade division.
  • Travel Teams will play in separate travel-only leagues.

👨‍🏫 COACHING REQUIREMENTS

  • All Head Coaches must be at least 21 years old before the season starts.
  • At least one coach per team present at every game must also be 21 or older at the start of the season.
