Important Registration Information
Please review all information below before registering your team.
Team Rosters
Online Registration
- Teams may register online with no minimum number of players.
- Maximum roster size submitted online: 10 players.
- If your team has more than 10 players, the coach must submit the additional player names and email addresses to: rosters@hyba.org.
- Additional roster information must be received at least one week before the season begins.
Mail-In Registration
Teams registering by mail must submit a complete roster, including player names and email addresses, to:

Mail-in rosters must be received at least one week before the season begins.
Uniforms
Travel Teams are responsible for providing and wearing their own uniforms before the start of the season.
Forming a Team
- Minimum team size: 5 players.
- Teams with fewer than 5 players may have additional players assigned from general registration within the same grade division.
- To guarantee league placement, team registration must be completed by:
- Spring Season: March 1
- Fall Season: August 15
League Placement
Teams are placed in divisions based on the oldest player on the roster.
Example: A team consisting primarily of 9th-grade players with one 10th-grade player will be placed in the 10th-grade division.
Travel Teams compete in separate travel-only leagues.
Coaches
- Head Coaches must be 21 years of age or older before the start of the season.
- At least one coach present at every game must be 21 years of age or older before the season begins.
